We’re happy to spread the news that our dear Xisco Rojo has finished making a new record called Transfigurations, an album about change, renovation and transformation, both through art and through some sort of “ancestral spirituality”. The idea behind the music is that of the power of magic and love in altering the way we live and roam the world, and in strengthening the deep connection of the human being with the celestial and the natural world, which Xisco believes to be its innermost and more authentic essence and state.

The songs reflect a journey, some sort of meditative state. It is meant to be a circular work, and even the last note on the record is the same as the first note that one hears, and that transition also happens between side a and b. Finally, It is also the photograph of a turning point both in Xisco’s life and creative activity, which have been radically transformed in the last two years, and a reflection on the changes and processes involved in it.

Transfigurations will come out in the first half 2021 as an LP and digital release, to celebrate in a vital and joyful way a new year of more hopeful possibilities.
